Spicy sesame meatballs with a cucumber mango salad & basmati rice

Ingredients
Meatballs
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 3 pieces green onion (chopped)
- 1/3 cup cilantro (chopped)
- 1 egg
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- salt
- pepper
Meatball sauce
- 1/3 cup tamari
- 2 Tbsp chili crunch
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 tsp cornstarch (for cornstarch mixture)
- 1 Tbsp water (for cornstarch mixture)
Mango salsa
- 3 pieces Persian cucumber (chopped)
- 1 piece mango (chopped)
- 1/3 piece red onion (chopped)
- cilantro (a bit)
- 1 lime juice
Serving ingredients
- basmati rice (cooked)
- sesame seeds
- avocado oil (or sesame oil)
Directions

Chop mango, cucumbers, red onion, cilantro and place into a bowl.

Add juice of 1 lime, mix and place in fridge to get cold.

Combine all ingredients for sauce except for the cornstarch mixture and set aside.

Combine the cornstarch mixture into a separate bowl and set aside.

Combine all ingredients for meatballs and roll mixture into balls (will make about 15).

Heat some avocado oil or sesame oil into a cast iron skillet over medium heat.

Add meatballs and cook for about 5-8 minutes until cooked through and seared.

Add the sauce mixture and let simmer for 3 minutes.

Add cornstarch and water mixture and let simmer for a bit until the sauce thickens up and coats the meat balls.

Add cooked basmati rice to a bowl, top with meatballs, mango salsa, and sesame seeds!
