Brown sugar banana chocolate chip cookies
One of the best cookie recipes I've ever made - soft, chewy, and the perfect sweet treat.

Ingredients
Banana, brown sugar, and pecans provide a soft, chewy cookie with dark chocolate chips and a hint of sea salt, baked until the edges are crispy.
Directions

Preheat oven to 375.

In a large bowl, mash banana and set aside.

In a small pot over medium heat, melt butter.

Once fully melted, continue to cook for about 5 minutes (watch closely so it does not burn) remove from heat.

Transfer butter to bowl with mashed banana.

Add brown sugar, granulated sugar and whisk to combine well.

Add egg yolks, vanilla and whisk until mixture is light and fluffy.

Add flour, salt, and baking soda.

Using a spatula, mix until incorporated and no dry spots remain.

Add in pecans and chocolate chips and fold in.

Arrange your dough on parchment paper lined baking trays (here you can make them as big or as small as you want; i made 24 total).

Top with flakey sea salt and bake cookies for 10 to 12 minutes or until just crispy on the edges.

Remove from oven and let cool.
